Learning Outcomes

After Undergoing of the Minangkabau for the Global Community Summer Course Program, the Participants Can:

1. Understand the oral speech in the Minangkabau language.
2. Identify and use the Minangkabau language, both spoken and written well.
3. Chant the Minangkabau traditional songs.
4. Play Minangkabau tradisional music instruments (tambua, tasa, saluang, rabab, talempong, etc.)
5. Play a role in Randai (traditional Minangkabau drama),
6. Read Minangkabau handwritten works (manuscripts),
7. Understand the character of the Minangkabau people and regions.
8. Get to know the forms and types of oral traditions, some of which are oral and non-oral of the Minangkabau people.
